Bazaar Finds, Chronic Fangirling and Layers

BAZAAR FINDS

Last Saturday (Dec. 3), my Whenever-Whatever Friends* (Armendez, 2011) and I rummaged through a sea of stylish people and had a just-in-time Christmas shopping at the Bloggers United 2 Bazaar. It was… okay. There were good finds, but I think the Coachella Bazaar exhibited lovelier items. Anyway, I still managed to grab cool reasonable stuff. Hihi. ;)

Black and White Loafers

Sling Bag for Franky (my camera) or Charlie (work netbook)

Cropped Top

Bangles

I’m such a horrible shopper for not remembering where I bought which. Haha. Took me several rounds to convince myself to purchase these. Still, I think they’re worth the bucks.

CHRONIC FANGIRLING

Reblogging all things Hunger Games and Peeta Mellark. Memes are one of my “tumblr craze” favorites. Oh my heart~ Ever since the release of the full trailer, I’ve been distracted again by the awesomeness of Hunger Games. In fact, I’ve been re-reading the novel & participating in discussions with my co-fangirls, Ericka and Ana.

LAYERS

A haircut crosses my path whenever I’m feeling impulsive or anxious. I don’t understand what was with me last Tuesday, but I did it. I cut my hair just like the one I had two years ago–short layers in the crown, leaving a handful of long strands underneath.

Doing "The Throne"

Don’t be fooled. I didn’t go pixie cut; I just tied the long layers to emphasize the crown.

There you go. The fun stuff in the week that had passed. Tomorrow, I don’t know. I just wish to be more responsible.  Am thankful & happy but I must pay back with diligence. Haha!

Satchel Bags and Bandage Skirt

Fresh finds from Joanna’s little cutie sales project. ;) I bought a blue bandage skirt and two satchel bags–one with zebra print while the other in plain dark tan. I loved them! Not to mention the affordable price tags that go with these lovely items. :)

Thanks for these, Mother Duck! Can’t wait for the private viewing. Haha!

Coachella Rockwell Bazaar

What’s the best way to cap off the week? Retail therapy plus some streetstyle shots, of course!

As if I’m not financially struggling this year, I went to Coachella Rockwell Bazaar with my sister, Naiah, today. It was packed with the pretty-lovely shops and I’m so lucky to purchase good finds from them. :)

Behold some non-post-processed pictures…

Sheer For Summer

A bit late in the scene, but what else can you wear that’s permeable and yet presentable enough for work under the blazing sunlight? Sheer blouse, my friends. Sheer blouse.

Yes. Finally, I gave in. Been lurking around Stylebreak‘s collections and it was only last week that I decided to purchase items. Was supposed to buy sheer blouses in Topshop, but man are they quite expensive. Have to be practical these days, with bills and everything.

Here are some shots I took wearing one of the sheer blouses I bought from Stylebreak. Apparently, this particular batch of apparel is a collaboration of Greater Good and Stylebreak.

Apart from new clothes, it’s also my first time to use RAW images. Yes, silly me for doing this just now. You can post-process RAW images straight in Photoshop then just save it in JPEG so you can upload it in the interwebz. Of course, a regular smiling photo is always a must:

Young Folk, Silly Folk!

Just a note though: should wear a tank top underneath. :) Hold your judgments! Haha!

Meeting Doctor Martens

Doc Martens 8-Eye 1460 Black Smooth Boots

Finally! After years of drooling over these boots, I now own them! Thank you so much Mommy for buying me these boots! Thank you, too, Tita Helen for bringing this package from Canada! :D Yes folks, can’t find a Doc Martens shop here in PH anymore, so I went all puppy-dog-eyed to my Mom, and asked if she can purchase from there. And the rest is history. :D I just can’t take off my smile right now! Can’t wait to flaunt them shiny ol’ boots!

In other news, we just came back from our Lucena trip. And if you have been reading my blog, you’d know that my first priority right now is to finish Last Sacrifice. And I did! While on the road! Lol! I even finished my HP7.1 review. Will publish it in a bit. Road trip somehow surprised me as I regarded it as the catalyst to my productivity! :D
